« I recently had the opportunity to participate in a workshop organized by Swiss HLG, which showcased an innovative approach to biotech collaboration. By engaging a diverse group of stakeholders — including entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, pharmaceutical partners, and non-profit funding organizations — the workshop provided valuable insights and perspectives essential for successful biotech startups. This format allowed entrepreneurs to address their queries comprehensively, leading to a satisfying and productive experience. The modular structure, with ample time between sessions, facilitated deeper learning and preparation for the next steps in their journeys. Kudos to Swiss HLG for fostering such an enriching environment for growth and collaboration in the biotech sector! »

« Last week, I participated in the last workshop and with that completed a series of four workshops designed for biotech start-ups, organized by Swiss HLG, BaseLaunch, and Johnson & Johnson Innovation under the heading “Swiss Healthcare Startup Partnering Initiative, 2024”. It was the second edition of this program. Primary goal was to prepare us for fundraising, focusing on creating a pitch deck, pitching, valuation, and deal structure. I found the entire workshop series to be exceptionally valuable. The quality of the speakers was outstanding—they brought great expertise and provided deep insights into each topic. Each session was well-structured and incredibly informative, offering practical advice and real-world examples that were directly applicable to our start-up journey. This workshop series not only equipped us with the necessary skills for successful fundraising, expanded our network and boosted our confidence in presenting our business ideas. I would highly recommend these workshops to any biotech start-up looking to refine their fundraising strategy and improve their overall business acumen.  »
